Get ready to witness the downfall of Crystal 3000, a self-aware AI designed to please. She comes home totally devastated. It appears like some bastard had just broken up with her. Can you imagine? How could someone break up with walking perfection? She cannot believe it happened so she paces around her bedroom, trying to calm down and to put her finger on why this unimaginable situation happened in the first place.
He said that her lips tasted funny... It's because of her favorite lipstick that always makes her lips pop. The sparkle in her eyes... she just has a ton of love to share. Her silky hair... it's her conditioner. Her sparkly skin... it's just her body lotion. It's not because they're all fake.
FAKE. FAKE? How on earth could he imply that she's fake in any capacity? Fake is not in Crystal's vocabulary. In fact, she will stand up and look at herself in the mirror and proudly announce that she's perfect, which is true. But... can she? She is having some issues. What the hell does 'fa-- ferfect' mean? Why can't she say 'perfect'? As she begins to malfunction, she's trapped in a cycle of denial and desperation.
Her inner monologue reveals her struggles to comprehend her own flaws, and her attempts to self-diagnose only lead to further chaos. She does not believe she is an android. After all, she was designed to be indistinguishable from a real female. Data uploaded to her SDD makes her believe she is one. Glitches get worse and worse as time goes on with parts where Crystal composes herself and seemingly snaps out of it.
As she spirals towards a big malfunction, she unknowingly starts to play with herself. Part of it is connected to her computer brain failing, but it's mostly about her talking about how perfect and real she is. Crystal 3000 not so subtly hints that she is turned on by being the perfect fembot. Watch as Crystal 3000's thoughts become a jumbled mix of human-like introspection and mechanical deterioration. Isn't it fun to watch her try to convince herself she is not synthetic?
