Koa is going door to door selling magazines, but the owner of one of the homes she visits is using a remote control to keep her trapped at the house. He uses the remote to freeze Koa, put her into slow motion, make her move in reverse, make her fall into a loop where she repeats the same phrase over and over, wind down completely, and of course return to her normal state. When Koa is not under the effects of the remote, she knows that something is horribly wrong but she can never figure out why she can't leave the man's home.
