Mommy Needs A Smoke

My day has just begun and already I'm feeling exhausted. The absolute favorite way to perk myself up every morning, after my shower, is a daily smoke. It makes my days go easier, keeps me patient, and increases my appetite. Smoking regularly through my days makes the difference between my chronic pain keeping me bedridden, and living a mostly normal life.

I'm freshly showered, though I didn't wash my hair. I pulled it back into a sloppy bun that is frizzled all around the edges from my apathy and busy mom schedule. I'm not even remotely concerned with my appearance right now. I'm wearing no makeup and a comfy t-shirt with no bra, ideal for spending the day at home, and very easy to take off. I just need to smoke before I can start my day and eat breakfast.

As the first few drags hit my lungs, you can see the creases of the pain easing from the wrinkles in my face. I smoke it all, burning every single bit until my body relaxes and I feel eager to take on the day. Right as I'm finishing my smokes, I get a surprise visit from my husband, who raises a knowing eyebrow in sexual conspiracy before shutting off the camera and joining me. Maybe, just maybe, we'll get lucky and have a few extra minutes to ourselves in the bathroom!
